PR Manager

Andrea Homburg, born in Mülheim an der Ruhr, studied at the Trinity College of Music in London and returned to Germany in 2002. She completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in German and Comparative Literature at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and worked as a freelancer for a local newspaper. Following her studies, she gained practical experience in PR work through several placements, e.g. in the press office of the Konzerthaus Berlin. In November 2008, she started work in the PR department of the Konzertdirektion Schmid.

Associate PR Manager

Born in Hamburg, Christopher Oberschmidt grew up in Stockholm and Lübeck. He gathered his first professional experience in the PR field as public information assistant at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). His studies in arts administration at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences brought him to the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, where he worked as tour manager from 2007 to 2011. He gathered additional experience in the field of orchestra management in the orchestra department of Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Christopher Oberschmidt has been working in the PR department of Konzertdirektion Schmid since July 2011.

Associate PR Manager Internal Communications (Hannover)

Raimund Kunze was born in Salzgitter. His affectation for music induced him to study music education at the Folkwang University of Arts which he completed in 2007. Another passion, the organization of concerts, prompted him to study stage direction and management at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. In May 2009 he came to Hannover as associate manager of the Artistic Administration Department at the Staatsoper Hannover. Since December 2011 he has been working for both the PR and Orchestra Departments at Konzertdirektion Schmid in Hannover.
