Programmes with a difference

Max Raabe and the Palast Orchestra, who have popularised German hits from the twenties and thirties will in future be represented by Konzertdirektion Schmid. They revive shellac sounds and delight their audiences with a repertoire comprising more than 500 titles. Konzertdirektion Schmid will, with immediate effect, represent the artists worldwide, with the exception of the USA and German speaking countries, thus bringing exquisite concert experiences to increasing audiences across the globe.

Paris born actor Dominique Horwitz has also entrusted the Konzertdirektion with his engagements as a singer and reciter. Both his Jacques Brel evening “Ne me quitte pas” and his Brecht programme “Dreigroschenoper” have recently brought him storms of audience approval. He can be heard in an Alma Mahler Lieder programme and narrating Stravinsky’s “Soldier’s Tale”.
