Born in England in 1971, Karen McDonald studied Music at Goldsmiths' College, University of London. After graduating in 1992, she worked for five years at Intermusica Artists' Management Ltd in London . She joined Konzertdirektion Schmid in September 1998 to launch their new London office, of which she is now the Director. She is also Deputy Chair on the Board of Directors for IAMA. Still a keen violinist, she enjoys playing with orchestras and chamber ensembles whenever she can.

A music graduate from London University, Emma-Jane Stokely has worked in the music agency business on both sides of the Atlantic, most recently spending eight years living and working in New York City. Prior to this, Emma-Jane spent seven years in London at Harold Hold Ltd. She joined the KDS UK office in May 2004. Business trips aside, Emma-Jane is a keen traveller, and as well as packing her roller blades on her return from New York, exchanging Central Park for Hyde Park, she most recently fulfilled a life time goal to trek in the Himalayas.

Associate Artist Manager

Anna Wetherell graduated from Oxford University with a music degree in 2002 and began work at Van Walsum Management in London, first as an assistant in the Projects Department, before moving to the Artist Management department. She has worked for KDS UK, full time, as an Artist Administrator since August 2004, and recently became Associate Artist Manager. At Oxford, her main instrument was the piano and she was an active member of various choral groups within the university, alongside the contemporary music group and and chamber groups. She is also passionate about cinema and English literature.

Pia Sikorski was born in 1982 and studied Arts Management for three years in Freiburg, Germany. Following various internships such as at the Arts department of the Spiegel Magazine, at the State Opera Hamburg, the Beethovenfest Bonn and Beehoven Piano Competition Bonn, she came to Konzertdirektion Schmid. She has been working since January 2006 as an Artist Administrator in the London office. In October 2007 she began studying part time at City University London to finish her studies in 2009 with a Master of Arts (MA) in Culture Policy and Management. In her free time she likes travelling, playing her violin, hiking and jogging.

Caroline Downs graduated from the University of Bristol in the summer of 2009, where she studied for a BA Honours in Music. Before joining Konzertdirektion Schmid, she completed a three month internship with IMG Artists in the Conductors and Instrumentalist department. She then went on to work for The English Concert as their Education Officer, organising musical outreach projects in London. Caroline is an active flautist, regularly performing with local orchestras and chamber ensembles. Outside of music Caroline enjoys walking, cycling, coffee, good food and travelling around Europe.

Kellie Mills graduated from The University of York in July 2008. After having varied arts management and administration experience from music events and festivals over the UK, Kellie gained a six month internship position with the London Symphony Orchestra. She stayed working for the LSO for a further three months before she progressed to her role at KDS UK, in May 2009. Kellie is really happy to be part of the KD Schmid team. When not at her desk, Kellie enjoys furthering her eclectic music taste and finding time to play her alto flute!

Finance Officer

Kirill Ryabchuk graduated from the London School of Economics with a degree in economic Geography in 2009. Driven by his passion for music and finance, he joined KDS UK as a Bookkeeper in August 2009, and very soon became the Finance Officer in the London office. His deep understanding of finance extends from past positions in the leading financial services firm Jones Lang LaSalle and also within the global charity Oxfam. A true geographer at heart, he is passionate about people and travel, and has a special interest in contemporary music.
